Acoustic-mechanical Interaction & Microacoustics

Research on acoustic-mechanical interaction phenomena plays a key role in the activities at CAMM. Special attention is given to the interdependence between acoustic and mechanical parameters when going to the micro scale.

Additionally, we will have intensive research activities in the field of computational acoustics with a strong focus on the modelling of acoustic phenomena at the micro scale. This includes the effects of acoustic losses in the audible frequency range and acoustic properties in the case of non-zero mean airflow conditions.

The research is carried out in collaboration with Acoustic Technology.
