MIM Seminar

Metal Injection Molding (MIM) - Technologies and Applications Seminar takes place in Høje Taastrup on 17th November 2016.

Aminul Islam from CAMM is an invited speaker and will talk about: State-of-the-art and the future of metal injection moulding.

Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) is a manufacturing process which in last decades has proven to be profitable to a number of companies distributed over a wide variety of industries.

MIM combines the performance of metal parts with the ‘freedom’ of plastics.

The MIM-manufacturing process has matured to a point with reliable production for many companies worldwide and it has a complete infrastructure of material and equipment suppliers ready to help any company set up production. Besides this the technique is still so young that new breaking developments are made regularly.

Some processes is still impossible to use MIM - but it may be possible tomorrow....

Utilizing the possibilities of MIM both help lowering production costs and give the products a technological advantage.

This seminar will cover the basic aspects of MIM with talks from international key figures in the technologies. And it will present some of the current R&D activities.

Participants gets the basis for identifying possible parts for using MIM production in existing as well as new products. And they will meet the right people right now.
