CAMM Centre appoints Associate Professor Vicente Cutanda Henríquez

Centre for Acoustic-Mechanical Micro Systems (CAMM) appoints Associate Professor Vicente Cutanda Henríquez 

Vicente has an education as a Telecommunication Engineer from the Polytechnical University of Madrid and an industrial Ph.D. in acoustics from DTU in collaboration with Brüel & Kjær. He has a long teaching experience in Spain and also at the University of Southern Denmark. His interests are in applied numerical methods in acoustics, transducers, metrology and room acoustics. With periods of his career in several countries, his background is truly international.

Vicente explains about his expectations in his new position. "The tasks CAMM has set itself to work on are challenging, to the point that new tools, methods and materials need to be found and developed. I hope I can contribute to a better understanding of acoustic phenomena at the micro-scale in collaboration with my new colleagues at DTU.

I am sure that the knowledgeable and dedicated staff at CAMM and DTU Electrical Engineering will be very inspiring in my work".
